My Approach

Healing in therapy can begin when your deepest pain is fully seen, witnessed, and held—with compassion and understanding, and without judgment.

I believe this kind of healing can happen within a relationship grounded in safety, acceptance, and genuine human connection. My approach considers the whole person—mind, body, emotions, relationships, identity, spirituality, and the ways your experiences have shaped how you move through the world—while recognizing that what you have lived through does not define all of who you are.

As a sense of safety develops in therapy, you can begin to understand not only what happened to you, but how your experiences may continue to shape your relationship with yourself, other people, and the world around you.

I see my role as creating the conditions that support this reconnection. Our work may involve understanding patterns that may no longer be serving you, developing greater awareness of your emotional and physical responses, strengthening your capacity for choice, and reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have felt distant or inaccessible.

Over time, this can create space for you to rediscover meaning, reclaim your capacity for joy, deepen your relationship with yourself, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, and whole.

I believe every one of us carries within us a deep, wise, and authentic self. Healing can involve reconnecting with that self and gradually becoming less defined by painful experiences from the past, with greater freedom to live in ways that feel more fully your own.
